You may stand post after an eight hour course and receiving your guard card. You will have 30 days to complete your first sixteen hours of training and then six months after getting your Security Guard card to complete the remaining sixteen hours for a total of forty. You may elect to take all forty hours of Security Guard card training at one time also. Prior to renewal of your Security Guard card after January 1, 2005 you must complete an eight hour refresher course four of which will be a mandated course set by the state and a four hours of an elective.

Powers to Arrest (Guard Card)
Daily Monday thru Friday 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Security Guard card (8 and 40 hour courses), Pepper Spray/Mace Firearms, Baton, Bodyguard and Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED training will be provided, call Kathy or Jim for appointment.
Starting in January 2010 we will have "In the Classroom 40 Hour Instruction" for those who like to have student discussion on the subjects that are covered in the 40 hour course. All training material are BSIS certified CALSAGA course work and the instructor giving the course has a Criminal Justice Degree with 20 years experience in Security and over 35 years in Firearms.
Step 1: You may take your 8 hour "Powers to Arrest" and "Weapons of Mass Destruction" anytime prior to attending Class in step 2 & 3.
Step 2: On the 2nd or 4th Wednesday the first 16 hours will be covered starting at 9:00 AM.
Step 3: On the 2nd or 4th Friday the second 16 hours will be covered starting at 9:00 AM plus you will receive your Chemical Agent Certification as a bonus for taking all 40 hours of your security training with AKI Security Training Center !

Students from everywhere in California are welcome to attend our courses. We have flexible course schedules that allows students from far and wide to attend our courses. Come in for a weekend if you can't make weekdays. Some courses are held up to 10:00 pm in the evening.
